This photo shows some women who worked together. One of these women is Jennie White. I thought it might be the one sitting in the front on the left because of a strong family resemblance. However, I am now inclined to think it may be the one standing behind her of the one sitting next to her because of the eyes and their resemblance to Chauncey White.

Poor Alfred, who adored his daughter, died within weeks of Jennie. What a terrible burden for Jennet White who lost both her daughter and her husband. She then took in her grandsons to raise until her death in 1907. Also in Jennet’s household in 1900 was her daughter Frankie and husband Leonard, as well as their three sons.

Notes: Alfred White and William Blodgett are both listed as pastors of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Mexico Village in Oswego County, New York. The church was organized in 1829.
