RUSSELL C. BAILEY

Jim Maxwell is in possession of a picture of Russell C. Bailey from Cambridge, Wisconsin. Looking at the 1930 census it would appear that this was the same person given as "Russell C. Bailey" age 7, the son of Ben A, and Ida S, Bailey who were then living in Windsor, Wisconsin. In 1940 he was about 18 and living with a family of a different name. Click on the photo on the left for a larger image. He also has a group picture of Russell's unit. They were part of the 32nd Army Division which, being made up of Wisconsin National Guard units saw some of the first combat in WWII, and had more days in combat — more than 600 days — than any other unit.

Jim is looking for anyone researching this line so that he can return the picture to that family.
